Senior Business Analyst

Job description

We are seeking a versatile Business Analyst to perform business analysis and consulting in strategic planning, project execution, and departmental operations.

The role involves market research, financial modeling, budgeting, and feasibility studies, while also managing contracts, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates will be analytical, organized, and able to lead projects from start to finish with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Engage in market analysis including market sizing, market segmentation, costumer behavior, competitor analysis, and industry development with the market research team.

2. Build financial models that include components like cost breakdown (CAPEX, OPEX, COGS, etc…), revenue, profitability, breakeven analysis, payback period, IRR, NPV, etc…

3. Conduct data analysis to prepare business strategies, monitor KPIs, and identify business opportunities.

4. Conduct full economic and technical feasibility studies with other team members to prepare the study for the Department Director and Board of Directors for strategic decision-making.

5. Design and maintain organizational charts for projects that include project roles, reporting structure, resources allocation.

6. Provide general business / management consulting to other departments and external clients.

7. Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis for projects with the Department Director, actively monitoring preoperative and preliminary expenditures for projects, ensuring adherence to financial plans.

8. Drafting, amending, and reviewing contracts in collaboration with the Department Director.

9. Preparing comprehensive business reports, presentations, and documentation for the Department Director.

10. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies for projects.

11. Foster positive relationships with key partners, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and collaborate to understand project requirements.

12. Act as a liaison between the Business Management Department and other departments.

13. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.

14. Organize and administrate day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure efficiency within the Business Management Department and compliance with the company policies.

15. Actively participate in shaping and refining standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and enhance overall departmental performance.

16. Lead, track, and archive project lifecycle from initiation to completion, developing and executing plans that meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

17. Contribute to the identification of business opportunities, potential risks, and pinpointing opportunities for process enhancement within the Business Management Department. 18. Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Department Director.

 

Job Requirements:

 

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or a related field (master’s or certifications like CPA, CFA, or PMP are a plus).

2. 5+ Years of working experience in administration management or managerial position.

3. Strong skills in financial modeling (CAPEX, OPEX, COGS, revenue, profitability, NPV, IRR, breakeven, payback).

4. Good knowledge of market research (sizing, segmentation, customer behavior, competitors, industry trends).

5. Experience in preparing feasibility studies, business strategies, and data-driven reports.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management tools / experience with Power BI or data analysis tools is a bonus.

7. Familiarity with drafting and reviewing contracts.

8. Strong organizational and administrative skills to support department operations.

9. Excellent communication and report-writing skills, including presentations for top management.

10. Able to work well with other departments and teams; strong coordination skills.

11. Good at identifying risks, solving problems, and suggesting process improvements.

12. Exceptional documentation skills.

13. Experience in leading and tracking projects from start to finish.

14. Flexible and reliable, willing to take on additional tasks as needed.
