Job description

A local advertisement, and Branding company in Erbil is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor & Photographer with strong skills in both editing and directing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting, directing, and editing engaging TVCs and other visual content.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and shoot high-quality videos and photos for TVCs and marketing campaigns.
  • Edit and produce visually compelling videos with strong storytelling and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
  • Manage lighting, framing, and composition during shoots.
  • Select music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance video quality.
  • Ensure final outputs meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and production tools.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video editing, directing, and photography (preferably for TVCs).
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
  • Creative eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency.
  • Fluency in Kurdish and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in advertising or branding industry.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with social media content formats.
