Warehouse Assistant

Job description

We are hiring a warehouse Assistant for a local production company in Erbil.

The warehouse assistant overlooks the upkeep of the warehouse and monitors receipt, storage, and delivery of items.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Move inventory and materials
  • Process inventory for delivery
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
  • Package items and label correctly
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
  • Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliveries to the proper location
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
  • Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations
  • Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
  • Work as an active team member to complete team goals
  • Adhere to safety protocols related to working in a controlled temperature environment.

 

Requirements:

  • A graduate of high school or higher.
  • Previous experience in similar roles.
  • Fit and physically capable of lifting and labor.
  • Alert and vigilant.
  • Free from chronic medical conditions.
