Production Software Team Leader
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage production software (“plant manager software”) for labeling operations (a proprietary operational software integrated with warehouse operations and the serialization module, used to manage labeling machines and lines, control and assign work orders, and monitor labeling machine performance and overall operational efficiency.)
- Plan, generate, and organize work orders based on product readiness and serialized label availability.
- Manage labeling operations across a complex warehouse environment comprising multiple storage zones and over one hundred labeling lines.
- Act as the central coordination point, assign and distribute work orders through the system to designated labeling line supervisors, staff, and warehouse teams.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to prevent errors across all operations.
- Assess labeling line productivity and estimate work order completion times based on batch size, product characteristics, and line capability, to correctly distribute work orders across lines and timelines.
- Track and monitor correct execution of work orders throughout the labeling process.
- Manage high volumes of products pending labeling and develop structured plans for upcoming days, to balance workloads, maximize throughput, and minimize congestion or mismatches.
- Prepare daily operational reports covering labeled quantities, errors or deviations labeling machine overall effectiveness (OEE), key performance indicators (KPIs), and plan upcoming operations based on product readiness and line capacity.
- Maintain accurate, structured, and comprehensive operational documentation.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, engineering, or IT (or equivalent experience).
- Strong software operations skills to plan, assign, and monitor work orders across labeling lines and warehouse zones.
- 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or warehouse operations.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High attention to detail and strong control mindset to prevent labeling and execution errors.
- Analytical and organized, able to balance workloads, estimate completion times, and manage high product volumes.
- Strong reporting and coordination skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Languages: Fluent English & Kurdish; Arabic and Turkish are an advantage.
