Operations Manager

A company in Erbil is hiring an Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the entire spectrum of company operations. This position will be in line after the CEO of the company with limited administrative authority and almost full control of day-to-day operations. This multifaceted role involves fully supporting the CEO and spearheading Operations, Administration, Finance and Accounting, Data Management, Technical Problem Resolution, and Contract Management, Human Resources, and any other task provided by the CEO. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, energetic, and possess a keen ability to manage day-to-day operations seamlessly. The candidate is required to be versatile and be able to fill in for any operational gaps in the company when required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operational Management:
  1. Support the CEO of the company on supervising and managing day to day operations from supply chain, inventory management, procurement printing operations, accounting, IT, Human Resources.
  2. Assist the CEO in structuring the entire company as it develops.
  3. Conduct documented audit on all the departments of the company.
  4. Identify gaps on daily operations processes and provide solutions to the CEO and board of directors.
  5. Coordinate and provide support amongst the company’s departments, CEO, and the board of directors on all daily operational and business challenges and updates.
  6. Perform due diligence for external stakeholders and third parties.

 

  • Administration:
  1. Draft and review official documents, contracts, and agreements.
  2. Cultivate relationships with government and private stakeholders.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  4. Streamline office processes for maximum efficiency.
  5. Oversee facilities management and maintenance.

 

  • Technical Problem Resolution:
  1. Proactively identify and resolve operational and business challenges.
  2. Collaborate with IT, operations, and technical teams to address system issues.
  3. Implement solutions to enhance operational and process efficiencies.
  4. Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting technical, operational, and/or business

 

  • Data Management:
  1. Gather and maintain detailed production data on a daily and monthly basis.
  2. Generate comprehensive monthly reports analyzing business growth and trends.
  3. Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  4. Collaborate with IT to implement data management best practices.

 

  • Business Development:
  1. Work closely with the Business Development department on future proposals.
  2. Assist in establishing the groundwork for securing contracts for new business ideas.
  3. Provide operational, process, and business insights to support strategic business development initiatives.

 

  • Contract Management:
  1. Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation to execution.
  2. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and terms.
  3. Mitigate risks associated with contract management.
  4. Collaborate with legal teams to review and update contracts as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on operational management, business, administration, finance and accounting, supply chain, data management and HR.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Detail-oriented with a proactive and energetic approach.
  5. Familiarity with contract management processes.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  7. Excellent Kurdish and English communications skills both verbal and in writing. Arabic and Turkish are a plus.
