Warehouse Supervisor
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a dairy product factory's warehouse. The successful candidate will manage the inventory, ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the production team to ensure that all products are stored and shipped in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
Reporting relationship
- Reports to the supply chain manager
- Works with the logistics officer, Finance, Accounting department, and Plant manager.
Job Description:
- Ensures smooth process quality in Warehouse operations
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders
- Sorts and places materials or items on shelves or racks according to required standards
- Records all incoming and outgoing merchandise, material, and stock flow.
- Engages inefficient and organized Warehousing, Inventory, and Materials management
- Prepares and implements periodic inventory counts including stock corrections in the warehouse system/database.
- Works hand in hand with the Logistics officer and Supply chain manager to meet product demands and mobility
- Oversees proper materials and stock upkeep and storage
- Maintains up-to-date documentation of inventory and returns
- Documents all external merchandise manifests
- Oversees smooth, safe, and organized merchandise loading and unloading procedures
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a warehouse system/database.
- Conducts counting of physical inventory and if necessary manual counting of stock on hand.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat.
- Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness and cleanliness at all times
- Wears proper safety equipment and adheres to safety guidelines at all times.
- Takes on any other assignments assigned by the company’s management
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate preferably has a BA degree in Inventory/Warehouse Management, Business & Administration, or Procurement Management.
- Knowledge or prior experience in any Warehouse/Inventory related software or systems is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of active working experience in the field of Warehouse and Inventory management or any related field is required.
- Fluency in Kurdish is a must. Candidate must have a working knowledge of English and/or Arabic
